When the nearby $2 billion NSWC Crane base announced it was seeking more than 300 new engineers, scientists and technology professionals – representing a new payroll of upwards of $10 million – Daviess County got aggressive. The southwest Indiana county is home to the WestGate Technology Park and offers top-ranked schools, a great quality of life and other satisfying attributes for new families relocating to the region. County economic and chamber officials directed MEK to produce an all-new attraction package to create awareness of the great attributes of life in Daviess County. MEK produced the multi-dimensional package in record time to distribute at Crane job fairs sponsored by U.S Senators Richard Lugar and Evan Bayh.
